Great place for a walk but go to byward market first and have a few beers!! Ambiance is great!

Sentries, present from 9-5 daily at Confederation Square at Elgin/Wellington in summer, can also be seen at the Guard Mount Ceremony on Parliament Hill at 10 a.m. daily, and at Rideau Hall from 10-5.

The headstone from this unknown soldier can be found in the Canadian War Museum in the Memorial Hall. It's WELL worth a visit.
