he University Hospital opened its doors on the 15th of Rajab in 1401 AH/May 20th, 1981 CE with a ceremony where the Algerian Minister of Health, H.E. Dr. Hussein presided. Three years later in 1984, the name of the hospital was changed to the Educational Hospital under the Ministry of Health.
