Charming pub that gives a start/end point for lots of Dales walks. Stone flagged floors and outside seating. Gets very busy on the weekend though.

Nice pub in a very pretty location. Food is a mix of gastropub options and simpler fare, quite expensive. They have an AA Rosette.

Make sure you ask for every item you want from the cool breakfast, rather than saying something like 'Full English' - they tend to miss things off if you don't specifically ask for them!

The pub grub is expensive, but the manor house cafe though the car park does lovely, reasonable pizzas...

Great pub for food and an overnight stay. Lovely staff. The rooms at the front ovverlook the village green with great views.
