This place gets better all the time. Has a real authenticity to it and the rooms are great. Like many mid range British hotels it lacks a little finesse, but the staff are fantastic.

Lift has been broken for 3 days now. Staff just shrug when you ask. Avoid eating in the bar area unless you plan on a very long wait for the staff to drag themselves away from the TV to serve you

Free wifi? You mean the poor connection that is free only in the lobby (& NO where else) Even if you get a code you have to re-login when your device shuts down. Sheesh! (I've logged in 18xs tonight)

Their fish was full of bones. Neither my husband or I could finish our dinner. Elevator broken. Had to do steps entire visit.
