Fascinating place to visit, the Monet in the drawing room is a highlight and good for a walk through the woods if it’s dry.

Family home of Winston Churchill from 1924 until his death. Excellent collections of mementoes of his career and some of his paintings. Run by National Trust.

If you go on a walk on the other side of the estate there are some fabulous hidden playgrounds for kids, beautiful views of the wield and all hidden amongst s forest trail.
