There are a few shops with sandwiches and snacks, but if you need to wait for an hour or more, you can just go to a cafe in the Unirea Shopping Centre next door.

Otobüs diye gidiyorsunuz, minibüs çıkıyor, bilet araçta kesiliyor, biletlerde koltuk numarası yok, Türkiyedeki köy dolmuşu gibi çalışıyorlar, asta uymayan bir sistem mevcut cl🙁

Braşov has über. Use it, not the taxis. If you do have to use the taxis, don’t settle for the first price.

There are ticket machines which have English menu and accept cards. Totally worth it, as cashiers speak only Romanian and don't accept cards.

Тетки в кассах говорят только по-румынски и карты чаще всего не принимают. Зато рядом с кассами есть билетные автоматы, и вот они говорят по-английски и принимают карты. Спасли мне кучу нервов.

Pay attention - it's not easy to pick the right platform or carriage if you don't speak English. The station itself is ok, but taxi drivers will definitely try and rip you off. That said £6 ain't bad

So you've arrived in Brasov. Take bus No. 4 to the city centre: buy tickets (1.50 lei each) from the newsstand (who will also stock Brasov IYP), RAT kiosk or vending machine next to the bus stops.

Watch out for the sharks! Make sure taxi price is clearly written on the side of the car door.
