CTA - Western
Western station opened in 1895 as part of the Metropolitan Elevated's Logan Square branch. In 1930 an Art Deco style façade replaced its original station entrance. In 2001 a minor refurbishment of the station, Art Deco façade, and station house occurred.

CTA - Rockwell
The station was demolished and rebuilt in 2006 as part of the Brown Line Capacity Expansion Project. The new Rockwell station, which opened on August 16, 2006, can support eight railcars, and is ADA compliant.

CTA - Grand (Red)
Unlike most State Street Subway stations, Grand uses a side platform configuration with two tracks. There are entrances from street level at all corners of the intersection of State and Grand. One level below street level lies a mezzanine containing fare control.

CTA - Ashland
The platform is of the island variety, with a concrete deck and a full-length canopy. The canopy has a gable roof supported by two rows of square steel columns. The canopy extends out to the centerline of each track.

CTA - Illinois Medical District
Prior to June 25, 2006, the station was known as Medical Center. As the name implies, it primarily serves the Illinois Medical District, but is also close to the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks sports teams.

CTA - Wellington
From the late 1940s Wellington became a station on the Ravenswood route (now the Brown Line). The original station house was demolished in the 1960s following a fire. Purple Line express trains began stopping at the station in 1998 as part of an effort to help alleviate congestion on the Brown Line.
