Don't expect a fancy furnished castle, this place is a ruin. But it's very well restored and preserved. You can visit the castle during spring and summer and actually go inside! Very impressive!

Abandoned medieval castle, it presents a nice option for a Sunday afternoon. Not much inside, as Beersel couldn't afford renovation, but for a raw feel (and a lot of pigeon shit) it's worth a visit!

Exterior has been well restored, interior to follow in 2017. Much of the castle is accessible. Open Tue-Sun April to October, weekends only in March and November. Closed in Winter. Well worth detour.

Built in the 14th century, it's one of the oldest moated castles in Belgium. This well preserved medieval fortress with its impressive watch towers can be visited Tue-Sun, except in winter months.
