In the 1840 election, the Whigs made good use of William Henry Harrison’s military victory here in 1811, with the memorable slogan “Tippecanoe and Tyler Too.” John Tyler was Harrison’s running mate.

The books at the museum are worth buying. The museum itself is a great experience. The battlefield is very peaceful and full of history.
