High Falls, with water falling from a height of 150ft, is one of the most powerful waterfalls in NC. It's an easy 1.2 mile round trip hike from the parking area.

Blue ghost fire fly watching is around this area in the late spring. Read up on it and try to get here. Bring flashlight and big repellant that isn't too stinky
