Very impressive building and park grounds. Nice place to take a walk and witness the unintentionally hilarious changing of guards every hour on the hour (a lá Monty Python’s Ministry of Silly Walks).

A must-see in Taipei. Beautiful surroundings, and the museum inside the memorial is one of my favorites, explaining the history of the ROC in Taiwan in a surprisingly politically-neutral way.

朝イチで行ったので、衛兵の交代式は見ませんでした。…でも、大満足。子連れ旅行でしたので、公園の中をぶらぶら散歩して、鯉に餌をあげて、太極拳のような体操に興じる地元の人を観察したり、野外カラオケなんかもやっていて、異文化の暮らしを垣間見ました。公園内の植物も日本のそれとはだいぶ趣が違っており、興味深かったです。ちなみに階段を子連れで登る気力もなく、建物の中には入りませんでした。外から見ただけ！

Great place to admire the architecture and to learn some history of Taiwan. Stand in the middle point and you get the 360 view of 4 buildings

故蒋介石総統を祀った記念堂。広大な敷地と建物と像の大きさに圧倒されます。衛兵の交代式が9:00、10:00〜と1時間毎にあるので合わせて見学することをおすすめします。
