Don't miss this overlook on your way to or from the summit

Do not skip this lookout on your drive down. Take the .5 mile hike to the lookout and the crater pops out at you. What a view! Sit and enjoy watching the clouds role in. You can see the old lava flow.

Overlook in being repaired and remodeled. Go to the Kalahaku Overlook or to the visitor center. You can't go wrong with either places.

Climb up the rocks to the right of the lookout. Lots of places to sit and absorb.
