Lunch on the patio w/ the dogs. The Turkey sandwich (slabs of roasted turkey w/ thick sliced bacon on Texas toast) was surprisingly really good.

Rud's is a really cool English pub. Really good burger. Chef Joe Apa is great guy that makes great food. The craft beer is top notch, lots of the local awesomeness.

A Houston institution. It's sure got "character". And plenty of decent beers, and ok bar food. And while close by, it's just a little too far to walk. There's plenty of parking that is rarely full.
