Love this place. Steeped in history and a cozy place to stop between SB and the valley. Venison burger and chili are decent options but you really are here for the atmosphere.

Tri tip is phenomenal! French dip and tri tip sandwich both really good. Restaurant is reallllly rustic, like you stepped into a saloon in the old west.

The Elk Chops were very good, but the service was rushed and impersonal. The restaurant was very dirty. The soup may as well just been from a can. The historic aspect of the restaurant is nice though!
