Is ok if you need to say near the airport, but there is nothing to do. The staff is not very helpful. And please, for your sake DO NOT make tour reservations with them!

Cheap and clean place to stay near SJO. Note, if you pay more than 5 USD for a cab here you are a sucker. Free shuttle back to the airport and free coffee in the morning.

Try to avoid room nr. 20! It is just a joke selling this room to anyone. Heavy constantly noises the whole night long....

Try to get a room as far away from the hotel bar, otherwise you will listen to its music and noise all night long, in stead of sleeping.
