Spring for a more-expensive room. Be sure to have anything made in house, the chefs are terrific.

Hemingway stayed here back in the summmer of 1916 paying only 75 cents for a room.

Ernest Hemingway used to drink at The Nogging Room, the basement bar at Perry's. Also at City Park. The bar at the City Park is a wood masterpiece!

The buttermilk pancakes are great! The Michigan scramble was just okay, can't really taste the mushrooms.
