Dodge the lift and check out the stunning, restored staircase which was originally built in the 1890s 👌

Really good standard 4* hotel. Beautiful architecture, though noisy rooms. Bar/ restaurant area again very attractive

I love this hotel. Wonderful staff, great management and full of character. They are currently undergoing a huge refurbishment & restoration, can't wait to see the finished product in July!

It's alright, certainly not a palace! Think along the lines of Premier Inn 'plus' and you'll get the idea. Room was ok, bathroom was looking a bit 1990's to be honest.

We found a really special discount (-71%) and it was cheaper than an IBIS hotel :O Quite impressive!!! It's worth it.

Great hotel, stay every week. Not all rooms are the same, ask for a room on the 4th floor, these are newly refurbished and have air-con.
