Check out the adventure passes by the book return. You can get tons of free tickets to local museums and you get 7 days from the time of check out to use them.

Be sure to make an online account so you can put any books/movies you want on hold and pick them all up in one visit.

Go all the way to the back reading room, where there's a fireplace; great for cold days.
