Public Library operated by Essex County Council. Study area Local History section; staff happy to advise you. Borough Council Advice in house - first contact downstairs and may get referred upstairs.

When going up to the 1st floor via the escalator, if you jump off and land hard enough all the books from the reference section fall off the shelves
