A sad day for the park. The statue of Joyance was stolen for scrap. Originally added in 1899 and made by William Goscombe John it summarised so much of the park.

There is a great echo from the 2nd bench going up the path to the top level. It's bounces off the adjacent house. Reverb time 0.4 - clap and shout !

As mayor I would now like to decree a total ban on dog owners who allow their dogs to foul the park.
