Great place for kids to interact and see animals up close. They have a train and merry-go-round ride perfect for kids too!

Great smaller alternative to the Calgary zoo. Not nearly as busy but still lots of animals to see. We got to even hold a Snake.

Even after the renovations and rebranding with cute logos, this Zoo is still boring. And most of the animals you can't even see or the enclosures are empty. Go to the Calgary Zoo instead. :(

Be aware that between September and May, the zoo concession only operates on weekends, so if you plan to make a day of it, make sure you bring lunches!

This zoo is perfect for small kids. It's not too big so they can walk the whole zoo without getting tired.
