Look for the red Songtheaws to get into town with drop off at Tha Phae gate for 30B. It's the cheapest option.

If you plan to take greenbus to Chiang Rai, come early or book in advance online. Tickets were sold out by noon!! Aircon lounge for waiting upstairs. Minibuses to Pai in terminal across the street.
