Take The Struggle down to Ambleside. It is not really a struggle to drive on that road as compared to the roads leading to Wrynose pass but still scenic.

The Kirkstone is the easiest of the big passes to traverse in the Lakes. Great route from Windermere to Ullswater with amazing views

A lovely winding narrow road flanked by stone walls. A great drive but not for the faint of heart.
