Amazing private lodge with spectacular views. Food was pricey but of very good quality. Rooms were nice and private. The grounds were lovely and afforded several hours of exploration at a lazy pace.

The beach is supposed to have some of the best sunset/sunrise views. It's a quick 5 minute walk even though it doesn't look like it.

Bring a book and a deck of cards and relax on probably the most beautiful balcony in Cairns for the afternoon. Allow at least a couple of hours.

Spectacular private lodge on the top of a hill overlooking the Coral Sea. Stay or drop in for lunch, high level of staff service well worth a look www.thalabeach.com.au

Grab a Corona from the bar and take a stroll down to the beach and lay in the hammock. Epic!

Beatiful resort. Don't leave the lights on at night -> bugs, big ones!Only negative point is the very unreliable wifi.
